A buddy of mine just picked up a Spanish copy of the 92 Winchester in 44-40. I told I thought it was probably 1920's vintage. Any knowledgable folks here on this one??

Lots of 'em were sold through various mail-order outlets in magazine ads in the late '50s and early '60s.
I understand that they're very collectible now, but every single one I've seen was a beat-up piece of junk! Those I've examined all look like they were thrown in the corner of the shed with the shovels and rakes - then dragged down the road behind an ox cart! One in fine condition would be a rarity.
Poor mistreated weapons! JMO

I just picked up an early El Tigre well used, but it hasn't been abused like most. It should make a nice truck gun.
