Does the 1902 model RB 7mm have a block spring like the large black powder models have?

Yes,all the leaf springs seem to be the same in the large Rem.RBs I have had over the years.

Were can I get a extractor spring for a 1902-10 model rolling block? This is the spring on the left side of the trigger guard. This model has the rolling extractor.

Can you(or anyone) post a picture of the TG where this spring goes?
limited drawings I have don't show an extractor spring per se and my RB has the bar extractor.
Thanks.

I didn't know any of them used a spring for the extractors ( I only have 12mm and 8mm rollers though ), If you go to Marstar (a Canadian website ) and go to the section on pedersoli rolling blocks, they show in stock a spares kit that has , extractor ,firing pin and springs for $50. see if they look the same ?

kywoodwrkr,
The extractor spring is a flat spring appox. 1-1/2" long . It fits on the left side of the trigger guard under the extractor and kicks the extractor as the breech block is opened. This spring essentially
creates a extractor/ejector more common on later rolling blocks (7 mm etc.).

Howie,
Thanks for the response.
The only spring resembling those dimensions on my drawings is one labeled locking lever spring. 1.6" long, .25 lift and .312-->.288 wide and .060-->.025 thick with .136' hole in biggest end.
It functions with the locking lever to hold the breech block in closed position it looks like.
I'm trying to draw that spring as well as the locking lever and rotary extractor in alignment with the breech block but am having trouble finding some of the dimensions for the extractor.
In particular, on the bottom, where it would interact with any spring. Oh well, it keeps me out of trouble.
Again thanks.
