Grrr. Winds quartering from front right, gusts to 9mph. Tried my Sinclair Benchrest Forend Adapter. Interesting idea, uses a slippery plastic base, with aluminum moveable sides.

Foolish move, I wasn't ready to pull the front bag off the Caldwell rest, so I used the less advanced rest. Which unfortunately has a smooth, flat horizontal rest. Which the benchrest adapter slides nicely on. [smilie=b: After every shot, the gun slid off the target.

9 shots (first shot out of clean barrel went somewhere). 280468S, sized to .280, 5.0gr Unique. This Contender in 6.8 SPC will drive me to drink. BUT... dispersion is more random... Like me. Must cast some more 280468S and try this with the Rock Jr front rest, sans "U" bag.
