My Lee C309-160-R, with GC sized .311, is .910" in length cast of COWW and weight with GC is 156.69 grains average.

My Lee C309-180 measures 1.00" and drops at 174.8 grains in the alloy of the bullet I happened to pick up. I'm not sure of the exact alloy, but would be somewhere close to clip-on wheel weight plus 2% tin.
Hope this helps,
Rick

I can't help you with boolit lengths, but I would recommend that you be aware of the variances of different batches of Lee molds...especially before their recent change to CNC equipment, which seems to have tightened there tolerances from batch to batch.

I posted this a while back and was amazed at the variances of boolit weight that these 30 cal mold produced, compared to their spec.

Guncheese - Thanks a bunch for the chart.

JonB - point well made and taken.

Now we need OAL charts for Lyman, RCBS and Saeco boolits just to allow educated comparison of seating depths when looking at a manual. My 2 cents.

just to allow educated comparison of seating depths when looking at a manual

thats what is wrong with this whole hobby
we work from the wrong set of numbers!!!!!
if i ever meet the guy who thought that OAL was the right way grrrr........SMACK upside the head!
i bet it comes from the blackpowder cart days when you couldnt get to much powder in the case but you could seat them to long!!!
come on folks lets get into the last century!! not to mention this century!!!
