I got a new mould and want to try it a 300gr FP with GC I want to push it 1600 to 1800 FPS
Power I have that come to mind
H4895 would be my first choice if supply was not low and servile rifles feeding off of it
IMR 4064 stand by for the .375 H&H
SR-4759 good cast boolit powder
IMR 4198 also good cast boolit powder, my first choice if I can get data.
I do have other options for powder but these come to mind for this project

30.0 gr IMR 4198 should get you into the fps range you want... Onceabull

The latest Lyman Cast Bullet manual doesn't give any data for a 300-grainer in the .375 H&H but does list IMR4198 with the 335-grain Lyman 378674 starting at 25.0 gr (1314 fps) with a max. of 36.0 gr. (1725 fps). With your lighter boolit, I believe I'd start at around 26-27 grains and work up until accuracy starts to drop off.

Either of those would be my choice also. I use a milsurp 4895 (close to 4064 in burn rate) under a 270 gr 375449 cast in my own M70 three six bits. I use 49 gr with a Dacron filler and run 2150 fps. For a comfortable load at 1900 fps I use 43 gr of the 4895 with the Dacron filler. AA5744 is an excellent powder that doesn't need the Dacron filler.
