Rick just made me a batch of custom push-through dies in sizes that were not available commercially.
Not only are his dies beautifully crafted they are just a few dollars more that the standard LEE variety and actually a bit cheaper than the LEE custom sizes.

Rick's dies are nicely polished, right on spec, and made of much harder steel !

Give Buckshot a call if you need a custom size !

I have some of his push-thru (as shown), a couple of his Lyman clones, and his nose-sizer die (uses Redding bushings).
Each piece is a prized tool on my bench. His work is excellent! http://www.marlinowners.com/forum/images/smilies/new/tee.gif

I love Rick's work. He's made a few for me in the pas as well. I may have to send him another request as I know his quality is hard to find and we should be willing to purchase quality work when its ready.

I got one of his dies when the Lee Custom Shop was closed. It's head and shoulders above the Lee dies in quality (size is spot on with a sized boolit included as proof), material (seems harder and more rust resistant than the Lee dies) and finish (it's a beautiful piece of machining). IIRC, price was a bit less than what you'd've paid for a Lee custom die.

Only downside? You don't get a red box or a bottle of mule snot with the Buckshot product.

dudel's observation is an important one !
Do not even consider ordering a custom size from LEE !
Rick's custom sizes are actually cheaper !

I have a number of Rick's dies which presents him with a problem. When I hire someone to do work for me and they do very good work like he does.....I keep using them for life. Now this means he never gets to retire and he can't die before I do. Sorry Rick....but those are the rules.....smiles.

I recently bought a .352 sizer from him and was very impressed by the quality and also how fast his turn around time is. A real stand up guy to be sure.
