Rock Island Armory 2011 VZ (10mm)

So the wife surprised me yesterday. She put a down on a Rock Island Armory 2011 (Rail) VZ in 10mm. She actually kept my Wishlist :bigsmyl2:

Her explanation?

"New Job Present"

I can pick it up with my first paycheck.

So...
Between now and then, I need to track down ammo and components.

I intend to break it in with Factory Ammo to start. (because I already managed to pick up 2 boxes of Buffalo Bore)

Need to do the impossible and track down some brass.

I have Longshot on hand because my .40S&W really liked it.

Hornady Manual has a couple of Jacketed loads listed, but Lyman does not show any Cast Loads that use Longshot.

Target Velocity is 1100-1200fps, 180-220gr are target Cast weights. (Buffalo Bore produces the 220gr "Heavy" 10mm load which I would like to 'Reproduce'.)

When going through all the numbers at the LGS, well, I thought Rossi and Taurus were bad about the packing grease...:roll:

So, if you have any Cast Loads you would like to share for the 10mm 1911, I would love to see them, Even the loads outside of what I am looking for above as I may use this for "Hunters Pistol/Field Pistol" for Steel Silhouette shooting.
