Yet another bear mauling....

Bears are gunna set a record around the state this year for maulings.... I have heard of 8 already and it's still July. 4 in anchorage area so far, with 2 this week alone... And to think I Couldn't find one single dinky bear this spring..... HMPH... We did not have a good year for reds in the local rivers this year, although the commercial guys had good luck in the salt water.... Lots of berries though, that might be what is bringing the bears in to town... Salmon berries and blueberries are crazy huge this year.... And they love to grow along trails and such......

I have never shot a brownie myself... I had one in mind last year, but never got a shot... Killed lots of feeder blackies though.... With bow and with j-words.... I will dig up some pics....
