Milling containers???

Stop me if I've missed something. I've been saving plastic peanut butter jars/jelly jars/pickle jars. Anyone used these for a 1-2 hour time milling/grinding operation on BP components? If I can run 2 hours, get a satisfactory grind/mix, well then I'm happy. And pitch the jar.....
As a side note, glass pickle jars?
As another side note? Any preference to ceramic/SS/steel/Lead balls for media?

I wouldn't run glass for sure.
I use 1/2" copper tubing cut 3/4" long filled with WW lead. Lead balls tended to push the powder to the ends of the container and pack it there. The tubular media keeps everything moving.
