I wanted something that was a more minimal holster design for field and range use, and to take to the BBQ and Show off. It works perfect for those uses. I don't think it's a CC holster unless you have a longer coat on. It hangs a bit lower than my pancake designs but that makes the draw a bit easier on my old shoulders!

That is a beautiful setup. I would have to think long and hard to decide between it and a stingray covered rig...

Title sounds like an offer to trade one (complete) shark and one horse hide for a 1911.

But the holster looks great!

I've done stingray but gosh is it hard on tools

I agree that stingray is hard on the tools. This is some of my work with stingray. But I really do not want to do it again....111592111593working with that stuff is a huge pain.

How does fish skin hold up? I had a wallet once made of eel,only lasted a couple of months.

It does ok but it and gator are a bit soft for an everyday rig in my opinion.
