Bit the bullet and sent my old Pro-Jector press to Hornady for the new. LNL AP. They shipped the new one out the same day they recieved the old one. I'm very impressed by the quick turn-a-round time. Should be here mid next week.
Has anybody else traded in and if so, does this qualify for the "Free Bullet" promotion?

I traded in, but they wouldn't do the promo for me.
Press turn around was pretty quick, but the shellplate conversions took forever (6-8 weeks like they said). But when I got my first one's back, I had a new 223 shellplate they replaced. The second batch I sent in had a new 9mm plate. Later the service rep would tell me they get one once in awhile they have a hard time converting. But they did convert my old Pro7's over!
I thought I could do my own conversion, but they are hard! My local shop wouldn't touch them either and said the $10 conversion was well worth it.

Thanks for the info. Fortunately I only have one of the old style shell plates. The others are all the EZ-Ject style.
