Recieved gunsmithing books

My niece`s husband must think I`m not so real bad of a person. He sent me a 2 vol. set of "The Modern Gunsmith" by James Howe. Both books are in excellent shape with the dust covers not torn up either. I`m guessing this was a 1941 printing by looking on the inside printing listings. The 2 vol. set back then cost a back breaking $15.00! He won`t tell me what he spent on them at a auction sale a widow was having of her late hubbies stuff out in Co. Kind of goes together, old books for an old duffer!Robert

Classic info and a good addition to any librairy. Nice they are in such great condition! You had to be a better craftsman back then as after market parts were about nil! Want something different? Had to make it!
