All my previous attempts at Pan Lubing for nitro, were good, but often messy. I am naturally gifted at clumsy, always spilling things and making a right old mess and facing my wife after...

Then I found one of these great old Petwer Tea-Pots. Sat there in my SHTF tin-stash...

The center of gravity is so low, even when full, these things are very hard to tip over and spill, even when the boiling water around them is bubbling away...

They are so rock-steady, I could even stir the Beewax, Crisco and Olive Oil one-handed with confidence (An Emmert's BP lube)

With that handy spout, the easiest thing in the world to pour the hot wax right in the middle of the pan-lube tray, just to the right level...

Cooling down to 'barely there' warmth felt in the set, easy to push (pushing on the nose) out of the set, with good heads ready to go.

First attempt at an Emmert's, and very pleased with that olde tea-pot...
