Picked up a old herters 49 I believe otherwise it looks like a saeco clone with lyman dies and wing bolts holding them in. Can I take a old brass case and lightly pound the sizing die?

The nose punch I was thinking of screwdriver or vice grips.

Seems to be lightly rusted on the outside so I'm guessing they'll need a little help, if you have any other ideas I would appreciate it.

Try a 50:50 mix of ATF & Acetone on both issues

and some heat to warm up the old dried lube

or just disassemble it and put it in a pot of boiling hot water

The boiling water works good.

Plus one on the heat, any old dried lube is probably acting more like glue than lube at this point.
