View Full Version : looking for load data for C309-170-F 30 Caliber and TL309-230-5R 30 Caliber

For the 300 BLK. I have been finding it a problem to find load data for these two boolits and I will admit I have not put as much time trying to find load data not because I don't want to but working nights 12+ hours 5 to 6 days a week does not leave much time. Thanks for the help

10gr of H110 for 220gr

180gr load 15.0gr lil'gun, wsr primer for 1,720fps

For 180's I use 10-11 grains of H110 or 4227

Personally I've had very good luck using 20 grains of IMR 4895 behind a .312 185 2r Gas Checked from a Lee Mold in my Yugo SKS.
Not a .300 blackout, but close none the less.

Thanks that is helpful as google search!I have done the google search and have come up with nothing so why do you think I asked here?

When we first put together a 300BO upper we tried the lee 170gr FP, had issues with feeding due to the short length of the loaded cartridge. They would nose dive in the magazine. This was with GI mags, we have not revisited the issue with either the pmags or the Lancer mags we have acquired since as we have other molds that do feed very well.
