I need a 17/32-32 tap to clean up some threads on several items. Finding one is like looking for hens teeth, anyone have a source or one I can buy/borrow???

MSC can get one made for you. I've had them contract out special taps and dies for my work.

That's a lot cheaper than a custom job. Good work, reed!

Woo hoo Reed thanks for finding that!!! I've been searching ebay on and off for one and never found one. Well that baby is mine now!!! Got several M1 Garand gas cylinders with buggered threads, hopefully now I can save them and that will make the price of the tap seem like nothing!

Thanks guys for the help!
