After a comedy of errors, I got to M-die 50 R-P 6.8 SPC cases. Came time to bell them, and I just grabbed a 27R M-die (comes with M2 body). Bzzzzt! Survey says! You lose!
I had the die in as far as I could engage threads with the locking nut, and the expander plug down as far as well, and it never got to the second step. Grr... Swapped in an M1 body. Chunka-chunka, set the stem down, and off we go!
The 27R first step is L-o-o-o-n-g! So while you will feel engagement, it might be a long way from hitting the second step!
