I started casting with a lee 228-452 6-cav mold about 4 months ago. it wouldn't drop the boolits si i had to lee-ment it. i just recievea a new style lee 158-rf 2cav mold. this mold works great! boolits drop right out and i really love the huge metplat on these slugs. can't wait to push em down the blackhawks bbl soon. Oh, the 2 cav is so light it feels like a toy compared to the 6 cav. I'm not complaining though lol

The 358158rf is a great slug for 38 and 357. I shoot a lot of them.

The Lee 358158RF is an excellent design. That is my preferred field design for the .38 Special/.357 Magnum. Mine is a six cavity mould and works very well.

I almost bought the semi-wadcutter style but thought this boolit was a better do it all design. good enuff to take a doe with and target shoot. also wouldn't be a bad protection load . just my thoughts.

The 358-158-RF is a nice design. The only improvements I can think of would be to offer it in a flat base tumble lube version. I'd go for one of those immediately.
