i bought some at grafs a year or 2 ago for about 8-9 bucks for some 12g primed hulls [100]. i looked again and they did have a price increase. i looked elsewhere and bpi has some rio primed for about the same range. is there another place out there that sells them for less or is this the cheaper going rate already?

Good question, Ballistic Products is where I get mine. I doubt you will find them at a significant savings over their prices.

I've seen primed hulls sold in Cabela's and at Midway, but their prices are much higher. The Rio hulls are a great deal at $8.99, but if you want to avoid the oversize primer thing, these are also a great deal: http://www.ballisticproducts.com/Cheddite-12ga-2-3_4-16mm-brass-primed-and-skived-bag_100/productinfo/1391270/
Those Cheddite hulls have an American-sized primer, and the clear tube is cool (though it gets dirty and not as pretty the second time around.)

I too would send you to Ballistic Products, I have bought thousands of 12/ 20/28/410 Cheddite hulls, If you use a Mec press they load best if you buy Ballistic Products brass crimp starter .:bigsmyl2:
