I was looking around on gunbroker and they have some pistol powder listed. It sounds like their an ammo maker selling off some bulk powder. The price seems a little high at $118 a 4lb can but it's supposed to be like WST or Titegroup. It might be ok if you live in VA and can pick it up without the shipping and hazmat.

I've not dealt with them, but they don't appear to be a big business.

Nearly $30 / lb for an unknown

I'd have to be desperate.

We just ordered 12 pound today ended up being 114 bucks each after shipping. 4# for pickup was 100 bucks, I suppose I'll find out how close to titegroup it is this weekend.

I got some on sale for $60, and am loading up some 115 grain 9mm's with it. But weather forecasts look pretty grim, may be a while before I can see how they do.

Seems this thread got dropped and another simply named Expansion Industries was started on this same forum. Several of us have ordered and received powder and started working loads. There was a sale last month, I got my 4lb jug delivered to the door at 108 with hazmat fee, others got it a little lower before they started to raise the price back up.

I bought 8lbs to my door for $165. I've loaded some up and will shoot it this weekend. It meters well through my lee perfect powder measure but not through my autodisk with an adjustable charge bar.

I bought 8# for $130 ish to my door. i am loading with good results ; 150gr. Cast SWC over 5 gr of it with excellent performance. Can probably jump it up some. However it is a great load for my .357 with a 4" BBl. easy shooting low recoil load. I am also workin up some 210 cast SWC for my SR 1911. I will repost as i get results. Any others doing the same ,please let me know how your making out. We can compare notes. Good loading & Great shooting folks

Excellent powder! Very cost effective. Load data similar to TiteGroup.

Fast shipping.

I load it in 9mm, 38SPL, 357MAG, 40 S&W, 45ACP, and 45LC.

I WILL buy more when I need it!!!!!!

They are repackaging Maxam CSB-1 (used in Rio shotgun shells, among other things) from 55lbs drums into 1# and 4# jugs. They are not the manufacturer.

Who cares?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Great powder no matter who makes it!
And I sure do not want an illegal 55# drum of powder sitting in my shop.

I do. I want to know the manufacturer, and get load data guidance from them.

Right, that's why one calls up a friend and ask "how much CSB-1 do you want?" and sell off some of it. I bought it for $12/lbs. Pretty easy to resell it when that's all I had in it.

ETR7 has been discussed in 36 threads on Cast Boolits. You should do a search and you'll have all your answers including links to other site dicussions about the powder with loading data that is not on the 6# jugs!

looks like a substantial price increase. $72/4lbs. Luckily I got a lot of it cheap.
