I replaced mine with Uncle Mikes. I'm not sure if they are still available because I cannot find them on their web site to send you a link, but I contacted them via webmail and when they answer I will post the info here. Enjoy your fine revolver.

Track of the Wolf recently had nipples and wrenches for the ROA on sale. I just now loaded mine up along with an 1851 and am going outside to make some smoke!

I found a couple of options. Treso and Uncle Mikes, any advantage with the smaller flash hole in the Treso nipples?

I always used the factory ones, should still be available, with no issues at all.

Hotter spark.

The cap compound controls the heat, the hole controls the reach into the cylinder.

Track of The Wolf's nipples use the same hex head wrench (or 3/16 nut driver/socket), and are externally the same as the ROA, but internally they are like the TRESSO's. They claim to be sized to use CCI #11's, which I cannot find, but found the magnum variety often take two strikes. However Rem #10's work very well. They are also slightly cheaper than the TRESSO's.

I replaced mine only because the Rem #11's needed pinching, and the CCI #11 mags also took two strikes.

I thought CCI made Remington caps, maybe CCI 10's will work. Anyone know whose nipple will hold a RWS 11. I have those caps and a under-hammer target pistol with a Ruger nipple.

Track of the Wolf. Period.

Nipple, 12-28 thread, for Ruger Old Army revolver, #11 CCI cap, stainless steel, for Ruger hex socket or Track's #NW-130 wrench

The cap compound controls the heat, the hole controls the reach into the cylinder.

The smaller hole directs the flame into a more concentrated area. Kind of like screwing down the nozzle on a hose.

Now there's a thought.

CCI makes the Winchester caps.

My factory nipples didn't give me issues. I only changed them as I couldn't get Rem #11's or CCI #11 mags to work well.

I have kept the factory nipples since there is nothing wrong with them.
