WCC-846 is BL-C2 according to my source at Hodgdon...unofficially, of course.

Initial boolet test: 43,44,45 grains with the 304 grain NEI RN GC boolet.

DATA: boolets are WW and weigh 304 grains bare. Boolet length is 1.252" as cast, and 1.274" w/gc and are sized with a (marked) .366" sizer die. Die reduces diameter just under .001", but the four driving bands taper from .367" to .365 at the front in .001" increments. I intend to hone out a die to not touch the bands before warm weather gets here.

Stinking cold here in SW Idaho today, 26-degrees at 3:40pm, with a slight 6-8mph wind from the SW.

43gr: 1839, 1862,1839fps
44gr: 1946, 1924, 1957fps
45gr: 2051, 2035, 1949(?) fps

at 25yds all groups were in the .8-.9" range and round.

OAL was 3.406" and all rounds were loaded into the magazine and fed from there.
Feeding was flawless, no signs of any pressure.

The Goal: 2250fps with no leading and sub-2moa 5-shot groups at 100yds.
