Here it is. I developed a load with 240gr Hornaday commercial cast. I just happened to have some of their boolits, their manual, and one of the powders in their manual, AA#5. I spent a good bit of time trimming Winchester 44 magnum brass into specials that would fit my cylinder perfectly, last night. I worked the load from 6.8gr to 8.0. I think the max was 8.4, but I didn't want to go that high. After carefully loading each round for my first batch of handloads for this revolver, I couldn't contain my excitement for testing them out today. But, this Georgia heat has been hell on this Georgia boy. It is amazing how quickly my motivation went from excited to... "think I'll do this another day". Whats the hurry? Right? I decided to take pictures instead (Note, the rounds in the cylinder are dummy rounds). I logged the gun into my gun book, and installed Pachmyr grips. Oh, and I oiled it a little. The poor gun was practically dry.109476109477109479109480109481

Hopefully this worked! I can't get the dang pictures to get any bigger though.

Nice, I still have my old 3" blue Bulldog. Casted up a bunch of Lee 240 SWC-TL for them last week.

I don't understand this. I'd almost rather shoot than breathe. In fact, if I didn't HAVE to breathe, I'd rather shoot. I"ve spent many a 16 hour and 1000 rd day at the range, altho usually half of that was .22lr, quite a few were all centerfire

How have those boolits worked out for you? I've been thinking that if I'm satisfied with the recoil/accuracy of 240gr Hornaday rounds I loaded (yet to test), I'd probably give that mold a shot.

Animal,

Mold is working well for me and bullets are dropping right at .430 that I don't have to resize, just tumble lube them and load.
