CCI segmented HP

Anyone here ever use any of these. 32 gr 1640 fps. it says they separate into 3 equal pieces on impact. I acquired 2 50 rd boxes and may try a few experiments with them.

When i was a kid and we couldn't find hollow points, we used a razor blade to make a cross cut in the bullet nose. It made a noticeable difference when shot into a clay bank. I remember one of my buddies reading about the idea from an outdoor magazine back in the 60's. A hole drilled into a hunk of 2x4 would hold the round firmly for the cut and half of a double edge blade getting wacked by a screwdriver handle did the trick. I can't imagine my eyes being able to do that today.
