Yeah...

I can't find rolls of tin or tin tape on the net from McMaster or Grange or anywhere else for that matter, so I just ain't sure...

Find pewter at garage sales, Goodwill, or other places like that. Treat pewter like tin.
There are hallmarks listed on previous posts, check for them as many are not actual pewter.

It's actually called solder ribbon and solder foil. It can be MANY different alloys. Here is a sales link which will show its many different alloys and dimensions. The description on Craigslist is very vague, and lacking confidence in what it is.

I personally would buy it to use as solder! I solder a lot of things and thin is perfect to sandwich between metals to join.

I make my own using my gold roller. Just take KNOWN solder alloys and run it thru the rolls to from a thin ribbon of the thickness I want.

If I were you, I would pass on this if all you are wanting is just some Sn for boolits!

Head to Walmart. You'll find tin sinkers in the fishing section.
