Sharps 1852 parts

I have a friend looking for parts for a Sharps 1852 carbine he recently acquired.It has a broken mainspring and has no stock or forearm.Our hopes are to get it back into shooting condition.I haven't had any luck so far.

on gunbroker there is a guy Old west closeouts, he is the son of Val Forget, and he has a lot of parts. give him a try, I know he had a forearm.

otherwise if you are in the St.Louis area, we have a gunshow here called Antique Arms Show about 2x a year, and here is where the "old guys" hang out, and you can find a lot of good stuff here.
