As the title says, I'm interested in the real world value of one. To me it's another 25 caliber I don't have. Not a collector just a shooter to deer hunt with.

these are the only photos i have of it,maybe they will help

Easier to place value on a particular example. There are a lot of variables when it comes to 99s. Expect to pay around $500 for one in pretty poor shape and go up from there. 250s are worth more then some of the other calibers.

What he said base price is 500-???? fer a poor to fair. Need more info on a grade condition or a particular example, not being a stickler but look at it this way I have 2 rifles almost identical one one made 1943 the other 1949 one is worth about a grand the other I picked up for $200 and that was after some haggeling down from $250 condition condition and options then what ever is hot in the current market

That looks like a 99EG which are the most common variant, though .250s are much less common than .300s. The recoil pad is not original and I doubt it was factory drilled for scope mounts (easy to tell, does the front base cover up where it is stamped Savage 99?).

I didn't pay $500 for my 99EG in .300 which is original, though not pristine. I might for that one, I like the .250 Savage and am working with one now that is a post one million serial number and has the tang safety which I dislike. That looks like it would be a good shooter and you'd have yourself an excellent hunting rifle.
