Has anybody reformed this to another cartridge? 10 or 12 gauge? Any other wildcat?

I recall seeing a 20mm necked down to .50 cal. Sort of a .50 caliber magnum.

That 20mm/.50 was called a FATMAC. Idea of one of the McMillian boys, the ones that make the rifles. It looks like a 6mm PPC on major steroids. It is suppose to get a 750gr. 50 cal bullet up to something like 3K fps. I have no idea what the recoil is like.

Got a bunch and trying to find a use for it. The flare gun is a good start.

I only made two before I decided it was not worth the effort and just when and bought some more flares.

Wind chimes?
I would think that it would take one heck of a press to form anything out of them. Could be done and would be fun just would take alot of work.
Sell some as is, I'm sure some of us would like them for the collection.

I'd be thinking about popping for the $200 tax and making a 20 mm cast boolit cannon :bigsmyl2:
After all if it's good enough for the FBI

Come to think of it didn't Charles A. "Skeeter" Skelton's co-hort in shooting "Jug" Johnson neck the 20mm down to .429 as the ultimate 44 magnum?

If you make a wildcat you need to make the bore .50 / 12.7 mm or smaller to have it not be a Destructive Device by ATFE's rules
