Curious, have any of you that load Starline brass for the RIA M1911 GI ever had problems feeding? I've recently learned that some types of brass don't perform in our guns as well as other brands.

Why? After sizing? Is the brass thicker? I don't even bother to sort or even look at the brands of my brass in 45 acp any more. I have trash bags full of range pickups. I only sort by primer size.

Yeah, what singleshot said.....

All the Starline brass I've seen is excellent quality.

It ain't the brass.

I have never used 45 acp starline brass in a RIA handgun but i have used it in at least 5 other brands 1911s as well as some with match barrels Clark , Kart and Heine with no problems .

Thanks guys, that is good to know. I don't remember which thread I heard about this from, but it was specifically about R&P brass. Apparently R&P has given a few RIA1911 owners a bit of a headache... Not a whole lot of them, but enough to get a thread started. If I find it I will post it here. I was just curious since Starline has been my bread and butter for handguns. I figured if one type of brass can be finicky, then others might too.

Remington brass is thinner. So it would not remove the flair as much as others. So it could catch on the flair.
