Well it seems all the pistoleros hang out in this sub forum so I figured I would draw up a little business for the 2014 Double Action Postal Match & 1911 Ballistic Challenge.

As you can see it's set up so you can participate at any distance your eyesight and skill level allows. The DA postal is the main event and the Ballistic Challenge is the side match.

Let me know if you have any ideas on getting participants.

Thanks Robert. I posted a picture of the 100 yard target I shot today. I'm hoping to get some other photo entries for the ballistic challenge. All you Glock shooters feel free to try too, its open to any other service grade or carry type piece. Not sure if plastic pistols can shoot boolits that far though.

My M&P would send a boolit 100 yards ....never know where it would land though.

Very cool. I just got a 629 PC with the 1 7/8. I'll get it this for fun!

You might be surprised. The idea is that we get folks out to try it. My group from the other day was about 10" for 5 shots with about 1 foot of drop.

Truely the best choice for snub nose division. Certainly extra points for style using the 1-7/8" 629 PC.

Haha. Yeah. Any extra points for biggest fireball and face full of un-burnt powder????

where does a LC9 fall , it is definitly DAO but i think the barrel is 3.12 inches , but unlike a revolver the cartridge starts in the barrel so i loose an inch of rifling and sight radius it is 6 inches total length and a sp101 2.25 inch barrel is 7.2 inches long

either way I will shoot and see what i can do

The LC9 can be shot in the nub nose division (or any other you care to try it in).

I certainly won't turn away anybody who wants to shoot. We're a big community here and we need entries in these matches to show it.
