I found a nice looking #2 roller in 32 RF. Extractor is missing the lower tang and the bore is less that pristine but it looks good on the outside. Time to order a liner and prepare to convert it to 32 S&W long. This is a miniature roller with a full block and pins, not a #4. I think it would hold a 357Mag but as I have rifles in 357 and 44 I now find I need a 32 S&W Long to go with my Model 30 S&W 4". Pistols and rifles in the same caliber are very cool and if the 32 S&W Long is that good in a 4" barrel, what magic will it do it a 26" tube. Pics will be added this PM. Yes, it could be a 32-20 but I have a pistol in 32 S&W not 32-20. Could 32-20 be far behind? If I find a revolver it very well could be. ;>)

Sounds like a fun project. I'll bet that thing kicks like a 22 when you're done.

Cool rifles. The Rifle Shoppe sometimes has centerfire blocks for pretty cheap if you don't want to drill yours, and the Uberti Baby roller .357 extractor is easy to fit as a replacement if you don't have all the equipment to machine one. Mine just took filing and trimming down, but it cost about as much as the centerfire block.

The #2 Rolling Block is a very strong action! I have an original factory chambered in .32-20, and love shooting it!

http://www.therifleshoppe.com/ . I emailed them when I found out about their blocks and they put me down as wanting one. They had none in stock when I originally asked, but emailed me when they had some in stock. It was only $25 or so.
