I've got some IMR 4227 I's like to use up, does anyone have any data for this powder underneath a 250 gr. cast boolit? I would that 13.0 grains would be a safe place to start, I've used as much as 16. grs. in my .44 special/240 gr. cast and trust me that was special, though I wouldn't recommend it unless your shooting a Ruger or Smith N-Frame.
Thanks Matt

Ditto what Felix said – That recipe has worked well for me.
18 grns of 4227 under a 250 grn boolit is well within safe limits, according to the data I have (courtesy of Hogdon and Lyman).
