Anybody tried the Williams FP or 5D on a Rossi lever? They don't list one specifically for the Rossi, but surely one would work. Any ideas?

108497On a Rossi you will need to drill and tap mounting holes - same for a tang sight. I have a Marbles tang sight on my Rossi 92 and Williams on my .22 and Winchester 94 - can't say one is better than the other. Whichever you pick will require a gunsmith to drill and tap. I suggest you find the gunsmith first...ask around, some are overworked and it could take a long time to get it done.

And you may need to change the front sight too.

Yep sure do, I had a an FP for a M94 mounted on my Puma 357. Didn't have to change front sights either, like I had heard you might have to.

I D&T'd my 92 for a Williams FP off my 94 angle eject(mounts in the rear scope mount holes). Also did a Browning B92 that way because I didn't want extra holes in the side of the B92.
