So I've gone on a casting binge for the past few days, making around 300 boolits in my 2 cavity Lee mould. Today I noticed there is a bit of lead between the sprue plate and the mould, a very thin layer that has smeared lead between the two. I've tried the carefully scrape away at it with a flat wooden dowel but I just can't seem to get it off.

Anyone have any tips on removing this? It's sticking to the mould, not the sprue plate.

If you cant get it off with any of the advised methods if you use bullplate sprue plate lube in your next casting session it will work its way under the smear and slowly remove it in regular use.

I would love to get some bullplate lube. But I can't seem to find it anywhere in Canada.

Bullshop, I've been meaning to order some of your Bullplate lube for a while now. When I click the link in your signature to your site I only get a message that the site is "not published." What is the best method for ordering?
