I have been reading a lot on loading B.P.C.'s and broke down and loaded some for a 38-55 H&R target. I have a Round disc blade hanging at 200 yds, Nailed it with 250 grain in front of 55 grains of powder. Havn't got to check em on paper yet but they sure are fun shooting. Loaded some 45-70 with 405 gr H.B. today if they are anything like to 38-55's I may be only loading B.P. in these cartridges. They just seem to be more of what I was expecting out of these cartridges. The 45-70 with trail boss powder is down right boring, not much louder than a 22 and not much more recoil. I am going to try some in 357 mag. If I get a good load for this I am thinking about all black powder for this years cowboy action shoots.
Like I said
I think I am HOOKED
I am going to say sorry right now because I will probably be asking a lot of ?'s on this board.
Thanks Guy's
Jeff

Trail Boss was never intended for rifle cartridges...it was developed to keep the pistoleros from double charging their 44's and 45's.

Trail Boss is a good powder for 357. I load most all of them with it.
