Adaptor to hold dove tail sight

anyone make a plate to screw on a Thompson Renegade barrel? I would like to use a Lyman 16b sight for target shooting, but would like to avoid cutting a dove tail as I'm not sure how I would fare. I'm also open to other ideas or options. Peep sights are not allowed so it has to be open metallic.

Yep, TC makes, or did make, a primitive sight and base that screwed on in the regular screw holes! Log Cabin shop should have some in stock, give them a call. If that don't work, holler back at me, I have one new in the blister pack but don't really want to sell it.

Also, I have just gotten some key stock, drilled two clearance holes and filed or machined a dovetail in it. If you cant find one, get back to me in a week or two, will have time to make you one with a standard 3/8 dovetail.

I've got one of the t/c primitive sights. the blade's been filed on to zero whatever gun it was on but the base/dovetail is still in good shape for what you want it for. take $10.00 plus whatever postage it takes to get it to ya.
