Anyone know if Uberti made the Win 1873 reproductions for Mitchell Arms?

Does any one have any information on who actually made the Winchester 1873 models that Mitchell Arms sold under its banner? I know that Pietta made some of their revolvers and heard rumors that Uberti made some of their rifles for them but have no way of knowing.

With what tooling would cost, I'd be willing to bet that it's either a Chapperal or Uberti built gun.
