45-70 brass

I see the US Brass company has 45-70 fired for $40/100 shipping is $25 though. I wish starline would just pump it out all the time.

If they're charging $25 to ship it, it isn't really $40/100, it's actually quite a bit more. That's just a numbers game.

I think i'd wait for that price...unless you got so much money you burn it to keep warm with in the winter...then by all means!
Starline might be behind, like normal, but that price is close if not price gouging.

Starline is $122 for 250 - 49 cents apiece... when it's available. I coulda swore that they had a pre-order for it going a few weeks ago, but now it says out of stock, no backorder. I have 40-65 on backorder right now, it's the same case as 45-70 (just necked down to 40), so not sure why they aren't running 45-70 at the same time.

Is USA Brass even open? I have tried to call them a couple times and emailed with no response. I read they were raided in March over employee safety issues.

I just bought 1,000 cases from Starline and they cost about $400 with free shipping. Don't pay attention to Starlines web site, if you want the brass call them up and give them your credit card number and place the order. They won't bill your card till they ship.

Yes, the web site will say no back orders. But trust me, call them up and place the order. The 1,000 cases I just received were actually shipped 3 or 4 days before they even showed on in stock and that was about 10 days ago. Pony up the CC and put your money where the mouth is and you will be first to get the brass.
