I shoot a lot of military rifles and even more 30-30. It's been nearly impossible to find my standby powders of Red/Green Dot, 2400, Unique. This week the only choice I had was Titegroup and CFE Pistol. Because the CFE is all about eliminating copper fouling, I went with the Titegroup. Shot some this weekend through a 30-30 and got some good results at mouse load levels but accuracy went south at about 7 grains or more.

Does anyone have experience with CFE Pistol? Could it be a replacement for Alliant 2400?

I've just started to play around with Promo in pistol rather than Red Dot- so far... so good. I've had no issues at all with Promo in 12 gauge.
