Fellas, finally gonna do it. It's time to order the .52 barrel for paper patching those off the shelf fifty caliber molds. I'm figuring 34" long 1" across the flats machined round in front of the Renegade stock same as done by TC for their carbines.
Like this only longer.

Anyone have suggestions on the rifling pattern and the depth of grooves?

Ron, from your work with fifties do you think 34" is going to be right?

I don't see why not. The short barrels of the knight are very accurate. I am sure the 34" is more than long enough for full burn on the powder. Ron

i have two paperpatchers, one in .45 and one in .50 that are 36 inches long. depth of grooves should be no deeper than 4 thousands. if it is strickly paperpatch 3 and 1/2 is perfect. make sure you do the right twist for the length of bullet your going to use.
