Helping my brother move today had the bed of my truck full of scrap metal he gave me some more some stuff he didn't want to move. Anyhow he moved about two miles from a metal recycling/ scrap yard. The load I took in was worth about 40 USD. Lead there is going for around a buck a pound so I just traded and feel I got a pretty good deal. Seems as though the lead guy there is also a caster. So my $40 of junk just became 19 lbs of wheel weights, sorted no steel no zinc. 18,lbs dead soft sheet lead. And as a added bonus about 9 pounds of large lead pipe that he through in cause it had gar and paint on it. So helped my brother got ride of his and my yard an barn junk and got some of the good stuff. And its not even lunch time.
