37 years ago I was joined in marriage to my wife overlooking the Maumee River at sunrise at Independence Dam, just East of Defiance, Ohio.

15 minutes after the ceremony we left in our already packed car for 3 weeks of hiking and camping in the Bob Marshal Wilderness in Montana.

My only regret, I can't carry a 70 lb. backpack anymore.

Life is good.;)

I was 2 months away from becoming a father. God has blessed me with a faithful wife, 2 stalwart sons and 4 grandchildren. And just this week a great .600 RB load that makes one big hole @ 50 yds out of my 12 ga. rifled barrel!

Congratulations!

I do not know about you, but I lived in MT for a number of years in the early 60's and I miss it sometimes. I spent a few weeks every year in the Bob and elsewhere hunting and fishing. I do miss that, but I do not miss winter very much. S2

I've been happily married to the same woman for seventeen years and consider myself very fortunate. Seventeen out of forty isn't bad.

Congratulations--it takes 2 people working together to make a marriage work and you two have succeeded. In today's world, it seems like a 2 year marriage is a long one
Mama Bear and I are at 46 and we celebrated our anniversary by working all day on feeding 80 folks. But we are camping on a beautiful lake now for a late celebration. I give thanks every day for my partner and tell everyone that if and when she leaves me, I am going with her.

Congratulations on hitting this milestone in your dual trip of life. Hope I`m not being premature is saying that this Sept. will make #47 for me and the Frau - if the creek don`t flood. I`ve got new heart concerns and just wanted to brag a bit about our time.Robert

Congratulations on making this milestone. To help celebrate without making it too hard on yourself you could camp out in the back yard and use an old Coleman stove for your cooking!!

Congrats, and congrats to all the other folks that have been at it even longer. Never met a woman brave (or stupid) enough to put up with me that long and at my age I never will. I'm not against marriage, just never saw the need for it. Maybe someday I'll get as lucky as you guys. If so she'll need your prayers, lol.
