I guess my wife got tired of hearing me complain about how hard it is to start my old chain saw. The thing just refuses to start anymore because of using ethanol gas. She handed me the check book and said, Happy fathers day, now go out and buy the kind of chain saw you want. Came home with a new 18 inch Stihl MS250. The same kind I had before. But this one is never going to see ethanol, there is a station in town that sells 100% gas.

Gee, with a blank check, I think I'd have gone up the ladder a little bit...[smilie=w:

I wish I had somewhere around here that sold regular gas...

Stihl is GREAT. I've used an older chainsaw made by Stihl and I own the largest weedeater they make that you cange the attachments on. Simply great machines. Enjoy, you chose wisely.

Yes, Stihl IS the best!

I have two in my stable, a 361 (a brute) and a 290... a good, all-around saw.

Husqvarnas are good also, but I'd pick a Stihl...

Sounds like you've found a method that works. Start making a "wish" list and proceed from there. :-P

My Stihl can sit forever and still fire right up, only saw I'll ever need.

I have five Stihls... two 028s, a 024, and two 170s.... need I say more? The 250 is a good choice.
