I asked Dan T to work his money for the 19 twist Shiloh 44's. I then sent the drawing to John Olsen at Big Sky Components in Miles City Mt. and BACO. John got blocks for his casting machine and had a bunch of bullets ready when we got to the Big Hill shoot. Still no word from BACO.
I loaded twenty after the match Sunday and with Leadpot spotting we started lobbing those at the 1023 yd gong (4x4 ft) sitting from cross sticks almost directly into the sun with a left to right wind that took anywhere from 9-15minutes windage. 76 grs Eynsford 2f ,9 1/2 primer, .030 Walters wad, bullet seated with 2 grooves showing. Blowtube fouling control
I think this thing is going to work for those inclined to shoot greasers.
