Is it safe to shoot cast lead boolits in a Glock G35, Lonewolf with Carver comp? Does lead build up or affect the way a comp works?

I shot about 70,000 rds of casdt thru a Wilson LE comp .38 Super years ago. Lead built up but nothing
that caused problems, so it was ignored.

I probably had as many through a Clark Pin gun in .45acp; no problems. FWIW, I did clean the comp with a brass-bristled "toothbrush" every few thousand rounds (but that was mostly because it looked like I hadn't cleaned it, not because it was causing problems).

I've been running a Glock 17 with LWD barrel and a prototype comp they made in 2007 (looks very similar to their current production comp). I do get some lead but it cleans up very easily.
