I'm always looking to use scrap materials for top recycle efficiencies. Had a partial sheet of 1-1/2" MDF lying around, so thought it might make some shell holders. I always somehow manage to break the plastic ones. I used a CNC router a friend has, a 25 hole layout on a 12 square. All holes 1-1/4" deep, about 1" between holes (can be less). After all were cut out of the sheet, I set the table saw to 45 degree, flipped the squares upside down and beveled the top edge. Top can be beveled a little or a lot, up to you. Here are the results on the project. Still have more to make, these are just the shotgun shell holders.107347107348
