Newbie question...

I was looking for so load data in regards to my newly swaged .224 bullets. They were made from 22lr brass. The bullets are approximately 55 grains.

I've got some Accurate 2230 powder. I was thinking about starting off with 22.1 grains of the powder. Am I on the right track here?

Thanks,
CM

I got a custom AR15. The upper has a 1 in 7 twist. If that helps. :)

Just wanted to make sure I was starting in a safe zone for these.

Are these for ? (22 hornet/22-250?) I would assume 223/5.56 but that would be presumptiuos.

I use the same data that I use for my 55gr FMJ. My bullets are 56-57gr, depending on jacket weights. I don't run the top end, so have no issues using that data. If you have a fav 55gr load that is not max, I would just plug & play. Only shot in AR, all with 1-7 or 1-8 twist, bullets run up to 3100fps depending on bbl length.
