OK, I just got my custom mould in from NEI. It's number 89 in their catalogue.

I copied the dimensions and here is a drawing of it. I'll try to get some pics of the cast boolits up soon.

Thier drawing says 160gr. Mine wt at 170 gr.

I'm still interested in the TBS in 8MM.... a heavy if you will.

My 8x57 shoots the light wts too. I love 175gr Jacketed boolits in it so this 170 may be the ticket! There are not many choices out there for standard moulds. so I got a 4 cav with two cav of the 170 above and 2 cav with the 186gr. It's NEI's #92

I'll try to spec that one to a drawing too...

Another reason I wanted to try these was for the profiles, to help give me an idea of will and won't work as far as length and nose profile before I design a winner!

Good looking bullets. I have looked at those two when thinking about getting a milsurp Mauser. Is the .325 dia. in your drawing what is spec'ed or what they actually drop from the mold?

.325 is what they drop from the mould with my WW's.

the diagram/explaination that NEI uses on their info is that they will be .003 larger than the specs.

So the info on #89 is .322-160-GC, meaning add .003 and that will be the mould dia. In this case .325.
