I figured I'd give everyone a heads-up about a new resource that opened up - but Mods, please move if not appropriate here.
A friend of mine, Dieter, just opened a shop in Hutchins (just south of Dallas down I-45) to apply high-lubricity electroless nickel (EN) and other platings/coatings for firearms (and whatever else you might need).
He knows his stuff in this field and is an enthusiastic gun guy himself - and a heck of a good shot:

Apparently they do have an FFL
