I think this powder shortage is loosening up. Sportsmans had one each 8 pound jugs of 4064 and 4831 on the shelf, and a few one pounders of several others. This is the second powder shipment they have gotten in a week.

I didn't have a camera, but I seen them 8 pound jugs with my very own eyes, might have even wept a little just from the sight. lol

I think 22 ammo may have even made a comeback as the other lgs has had the same 22 shell on the shelf for over a month now.

I was thinking that about primers with all of the recent sales. I sure hope you are correct about powder too. I'll believe it more when pistol powders are available.

the other place in Fairbanks had a bunch of 4350 last week. I didn't get a lunch hour yesterday to make my run there and to Sportsmans.

Thank goodness I'm starting my second job to fund all my future stockpiles......after everything else gets paid off.

I see a little more rifle powder each time I stop in the local store, and it is not just the slow powers anymore. I also will believe it is over when I start seeing pistol powders sitting on the shelves.

I keep watching for it, but none has shown up in seems like forever. lol

That is the 3rd 8 pound jug that I have seen in the last month, that makes three more than I have seen in a couple years. lol

We have plenty of jacketed bullet powders around here, but pistol and cast rifle appropriate powders are rare or nonresistant.

What is this Bullseye of which you speak? I seem to remember old stories of it around the camp fire.

I was at Sportsman's this morning. They haven't seen pistol powder in many months.

All kinds of powder for sale on armslist.
Some was for sale just 60 miles away at $28.00 a pound

Well the 4064 was still there today, that is also unusual around here. lol They must not have put all there powder out yesterday, as there was TWO big jugs of 4064 today.

Stopped by a pawn shop Tuesday in the town I se my doctor. He had quite a bit of different powders on the shelf, but no Varget or AA2520. Dang it!
